Dragon Boating

The fastest growing team water sport in the world – Dragon Boat racing combines team work, low impact cardio fitness, strength building and lots of good fun on the water. Each boat has a crew of up to 20 paddlers (men & women), a steerer and a drummer. Training sessions typically last 1 hour.

Try Paddling

Come and try paddling with us here on the Coffs Coast at Urunga.  New paddlers are  always welcome and we have qualified instructors who will teach you the correct stroke and paddling technique.  We paddle 3 times a week and you can have 6 free paddling sessions to decide if you love it as much as we do!

Cancer Support

Originally set up to support Breast Cancer survivors in the prevention of Lymphoedema our club remains true to it’s origins supporting all survivors of cancer whilst also welcoming anybody from 12 + (male & female) interested in a sport that combines teamwork, fitness & fun.

Competition

Regattas are held every month up and down the North Coast. As a club we regularly participate in these competitions against other clubs & hold our own Regatta at Urunga in May each year. The best way to fully experience the adrenalin and exhilaration of Dragon Boat Racing.

Dragon Boat paddling is addictive! Once you start you'll wonder why you didn't try it sooner.
